The Gray Between

In the fractured nation of Valdoria, sixteen-year-old Leo Vance stumbles into the dark corners of the internet and witnesses a live-streamed execution on a hidden forum. Marked by a transnational killing syndicate known as the Circle, he is thrust into a shadow war between the powerful and the forgotten. As Leo flees across the rust-belt city of Oakmere, he encounters the Unheard—a ghost network of wrongfully convicted souls, collateral damage from a judicial system rotted by corruption. Among them is Elias Carver, a man whose life was stolen years ago by a defense attorney bought by the Circle, echoing the infamous Jacobson v. Horton case. Leo must navigate a world where law is a weapon of the elite, justice is a commodity, and survival means embracing the gray between right and wrong.
