The Qingping Letters

In the walled town of Qingping during the late Qing, the regent-like clan steward dies. Soon after, a cascade of anonymous letters exposes every family’s darkest secrets, turning neighbors into accusers, victims, and executioners. As the community devours itself in a frenzy of suspicion and violence, a young outcast discovers that the most exquisite lies, no matter how carefully spun, cannot withstand the corrosion of time.
